Southwest Airlines flight attendant wins hearts for soothing crying baby mid-flight

This flight attendant is getting all admiration for how smartly she calmed a crying baby mid-flight. A photo has been posted on Facebook by Healther Gooch showing how the air hostess, Anisse, was calming walking the aisle of Southwest flight with her baby boy. The photo since then has gone viral.

Heather wrote that generally very negative is being written for the flights and crew members. Therefore, she shared her story as how someone has made her trip quite better. Heather and her husband were travelling for the first time with their 9-month-old son in a flight. The couple was travelling from Fort Lauderdale to Islip, NY.

Like other first time parents, they were also quite nervous thinking how everything will be managed. Their fear turned true when their son started getting cranky. Anisse was passing by when she saw the boy getting fussy and did not take a minute to intervene for help.

“At one point, she saw that he was looking for her and getting ansy, so she came and picked him up and walked up and down the aisle with him while my husband and I ate our lunch”, wrote Healther.

Heather said that though her son was no longer with Anisse for more than 10 minutes, it is worthwhile to mention that how good she was with him and how happy her son was waving to everyone. A day after Heather returned home from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Levittown, New York, she took to Southwest's Facebook page to thank Anisse for her kindness. The post since then has gone viral with almost 55,000 shares and 400,000 likes.

Southwest has nearly 14,000 flight attendants across the world and is used to receive such feedbacks. Sonya LaCour, Southwest vice president for cabin services, said that Anisse’s kindness and helpfulness has helped the Gooch family to have good trip and this type of hospitality makes the Southwest travel experience an incredible one for many of their customers.

According to a report from the BuzzFeed, Charles wrote on Facebook that she was incredibly touched by the note, and never blames a child for being fussy on a flight:
I tell adults all the time on my flights, children are doing exactly what they are supposed to do….make noise! Lol Think about it, the aircraft is completely boring to them [after takeoff] and there’s nowhere to run! I would honestly rather hear them make noise and even cry than to hear an adult whine! Lolol They have soooooo much to talk about and mom and dad deserve a break!

A flight attendant is going viral for all the right reasons after she soothed a crying baby aboard one of her flights. Heather Gooch posted a photo to Facebook showing the patient air hostess, Anisse, walking the aisle of the Southwest flight with her baby boy, told the AJC.

“We so often hear about the negative things going on so I wanted to share this story of a someone who made my trip a little brighter,” wrote Heather.

The Yahoo notes that. Heather Gooch, of Levittown, N.Y.says she was flying on a Southwest Airlines flight from Florida to New York with her 9-month-old son, Aiden, on Dec. 28, when a flight attendant took Aiden under her wing.

The flight was only the second plane Aiden had ever been on, and the first time he had been awake during a flight.

“After we took off he started getting fussy and people were looking at us and I thought, ‘Oh great,’” Gooch recalled. “She caught my eye and she said, ‘Do you mind?,’ and picked him up and walked with him up and down the aisle.”
